2677108 - The Error Message "E-mail address XXX isn't valid. Please check" Is Displayed Twice when Creating a New Individual Customer

Symptom

You are creating a new Individual Customer and have entered an invalid E-mail and saved. Then, the error message "E-mail address XXX isn't valid. Please check" is displayed twice in the UI (XXX represents the invalid E-mail).

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Customers work center.
  2. Go to the Individual Customers view.
  3. Click on New button.
  4. Fill in the mandatory information and enter an invalid E-mail (e.g. dummy -email@dummy-domain).
  5. Click on Save button.
  6. The error message "E-mail address XXX isn't valid. Please check" is displayed twice in the UI.

Cause

This error message is displayed due you are entering an invalid E-mail address to the Individual Customer.

Resolution

The message appearing twice in the screen is the expected system behavior.

This is a known behavior that is in the road map to be fixed. So, a potential software correction will be deployed in the future Cloud for Customer releases.
