Customer has imported 2 profiles in the instance.
Candidate has applied to same requisition from both the profiles.
Customer merges both the profiles with one as master profiles.
But still 2 profiles exists in the instance.
Reproducing the Issue
Create two profiles and apply for the same job requisition.
Navigate to Admin Center>> Manage Duplicate Candidates>>Select Manually manage duplicate candidates and provide the email addresses then click on Yes.
Make one of the profile to Master Candidate.
Navigate to Recruiting >> Job requisition associated to candidate >>Total count =4 and applications available are 4 as well
Navigate to Reports >>create new adhoc report (recruiting) as below
This is the expected behavior.
Once merged, only the master candidate appears in the candidate search results.
All applications associated with both profiles will now be associated to the master profile.
If the candidate has applied to the requisition twice with different profiles, the duplicate applications will exist.
The client recruiting user under should disposition one and proceed with the other one in the hiring process.
