2675078 - Gaps in Number Range of Outbound Delivery Numbers

Some Outbound Delivery numbers for the selected number range are missing.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Outbound Logistics Work Center.
2. Go to  Outbound Deliveries View
3. Select All Outbound Deliveries by Selection.
4. Select Go.
5. Sort by Outbound Deliveries ID.

You observe some gaps from one Outbound delivery number to another Outbound delivery number.

Sometimes the user opens the User Interface to create the document but later does not save it.
Now the number created for  a new document is returned back as an unused number.
Later when another new document gets created the number range picks this unused number and use the same.

The system will generate Outbound Delivery id as per the defined range however it does consider a chronological order when doing so.

This is the standard behavior as expected.
