2673421 - Problem - BizX To Onboarding Sync is Not Working, Files in SFTP is Stuck - Onboarding [Integration]

Symptom

  • The following sync is not working: User, Permission, Delta, Location, Relations, Division
  • BizX to Onboarding sync is not working, files in SFTP are stuck.
  • Onboarding Import does not work.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon to your SAP SuccessFactors SFTP Account
  2. Navigate to ONB > Inbound folder
  3. Exported files stuck in SFTP

Cause

  • Scenario 1:
    The file type exported by BizX to SFTP is CSV (Comma-Separated Values) and an option in Onboarding (Is Decryption Enabled) is set to true.

  • Scenario 2:
    The file type exported by BizX to SFTP is encrypted and file name ends with PGP (Pretty Good Privacy);
    an option in Onboarding (Is Decryption Enabled) is set to true.
  • NOTE:
    Aside from the above cause of the issue why files are stuck in SFTP, there are other causes.

Resolution

  1. Issue is resulted due to above scenarios. (See Cause)
  2. To resolve the issue, please follow the resolution below based from the scenario that caused the issue.

    Note:
    The issue can only be fixed via SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding Super Admin (back end).
    Only SAP Professional Services, Implementation Partners, and SAP Cloud Product Support can have access to SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding Super Admin.

    Scenario 1:
    If 'Is Decryption Enabled' is set to True, the file type exported by BizX should be PGP (Pretty Good Privacy).

    Scenario 2:
    If 'Is Decryption Enabled' is set to False, the file type exported by BizX should be CSV (comma-separated Values).

    FOR CUSTOMERS:
  3. Please submit an incident to SAP One Support Launchpad and confirm if it is due to misconfiguration,
    Kindly refer the KBA to Product Support for faster resolution.
  4. If found out that the reason of the issue is due to mentioned causes here in this KBA,
    Reach-out to your SAP Professional Services or Implementation Partners to resolve the issue.

    FOR IMPLEMENTATION PARTNERS:
  5. Please correct the Foundation Import and follow the resolution based from the scenario that caused the issue.
