2653689 - How to Use Report Forecasted Utilization for Service Agents

Symptom

You want to use the report HCMRPMU01_Q0001 Forecast Utilization for service agents, but you can only see employees in this report. You want to use it to extract information about availability and commitments for service agents.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
  2. Open Design Reports view.
  3. Search for HCMRPMU01_Q0001.
  4. Open the report.
  5. Only employees are seen in this report.

Cause

The report Forecasted Utilization displays the availability and commitments of Internal Employees as well as Service Agents (External Employees). If you are only seeing employees, it means your are missing Organizational and Job Assignment for the Service Agents in your system.

Resolution

Once you assign the Organizational and Job to Service Agents, these should start showing in the report. If you have maintained commitments, that should also be visible in the report.
