You have configured a take rule with an information message that you want to display always when requesting the leave. This message should not interfere with saving the leave but you have noticed that whenever you hit submit, a pop-up with the info message is raised and you can`t actually save the leave.
- You are using Time off.
- You have a take rule assigned to the Time Type.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to an employee.
- Go to Manage time OFF or Time OFF (for ESS).
- Select the leave.
- You see the info message displayed in the bottom of the page.
- Try to save it.
- You get the pop-up which will prevent the page from saving.
Currently, Time Off ESS (v12) does not support using Info and Warning messages in the take rules.
Info messages are already supported in the Time Workbench (SAPUI5) but not in the current Time Off ESS. Once the new Time Off ESS in SAPUI5 is delivered, the info messages should work there as well since the same Absence Request Form from the Time Workbench will be used. However, the release date for this enhancement has not been verified at this moment.
