2651858 - Unable to Edit or Share a Talent Pool

Symptom

After the creation of a Talent Pool I’m currently unable to share or edit the same.

Reproducing the Issue

From Home select Recruiting
Click on Candidates
Click on TALENT POOLS
The column owner will be empty if you’re logged in as the user who created the talent pool

Cause

Permission settings and the target population of the role assigned to the user has limited visibility within user's location. This means the user cannot see user's data from other locations. In this case, the column owner under Talent Pools will not display to the talent pool’s owner.

Resolution

Changing this target population configuration brings the owners data back.

In order to perform this, use the following steps:

Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles > Desired Role > uncheck “Exclude Granted User from having the permission access to him/herself.” and save the changes.
Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles > Desired Role > Manage User > check Employee Export and save the changes.

Please note that "Employee Export" permission is a prerequisite to be able to work with Talent Pools. However, as we understand that assigning "Employee Export" permission might cause concerns due to PII, there is a temporary workaround available:

User should have field level permissions like Manage Permission Roles -> Employee Data -> First name and last name user Id, etc.

And also Manage permission roles ->General User Permission -> Company Info Access -> User Search
