2648204 - Disqualification Email does not send to Candidate - Recruiting Management

Symptom

There are no disqualication email sent to Candidate

Environment

SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

1. Disqualify Candidate via Pipeline

2. Select disqualification status

3. Apply Updates

4. Wait for the Disqualification via the email of the candidate

Cause

There are two possible causes of the scenario:

1. There are no email notification on Edit Applicant Status for the specific Disqualified Status

2. Return Email Address Information -> Delay Emails to Disqualified Candidates (in hours) is not checked

3. Refresh Delay Emails to Disqualified Candidates (in hours)

4. Candidate Status Delay Message should be successful. (Backend check)

5. Check if email was sent out by Mail Server

Resolution

Here are some steps to fix if disqualification email are not being sent out:

1. Check if there are any email template that is on the Candidates (External / Internal candidate).

a. Go to Admin Center -> Edit Applicant Status

b. Select the disqualification status

c. Select the disqualification email template to be sent out to the candidate

 

2. Check Recruiting Settings if Delayed email checkbox is checked

a. Go to Admin Center -> Manage Recruiting Settings -> Return Email Address Information

b. Check Delay Emails to Disqualified Candidates (in hours)

 

3. Refresh Delay Emails to Disqualified Candidates (in hours)

a. Go to Admin Center -> Manage Recruiting Settings -> Return Email Address Information

b. Uncheck Delay Emails to Disqualified Candidates (in hours)

c. Click on Save

d. Check again Delay Emails to Disqualified Candidates (in hours)

e. Fill up all the fields:

aa.  Delay Emails to Disqualified Candidates

bb. Don't send emails older that (in days)

cc. Job Owner

f. Click on Save and retest again

 

4. If the above 3 Solutions above does not work, kindly create a CS ticket and ask if Monitor Job: Candidate Status Delay Message was successful

5. If yes, provide the Email address of the candidate and the timestamp on when it was sent so that CS can check the Mail Server.
