2645828 - Insurance Section Missing from Current Benefits Portlet in v12


The insurance section is missing from the current benefits portlet in v12 only after the Q1 2018 release

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to an employee who is enrolled in an Insurance Benefit

2. Observe that the Insurance Benefit Type doesn’t have its own section anymore in the Current Benefits portlet, but Allowances and Pensions do


The workaround now is to do the following

1. Go to Manage Permission Roles

2. Find a role in which an employee has permissions to see users benefits

3. Scroll down to the Admin Center Permissions and turn on the permission for View Read and Change Audit Configuration and Edit Read and Change Audit Configuration


4. Grant this permission, save and then log out and then back in again

5. Go to Admin Centre and in the tool search, search for Manage Audit Configuration


6. Once in this tool, turn the switch for read access logging to yes and save


7. Re-test and the insurance tab now appears
