2644844 - Errors for OpportunityQueryIn Service Interface

Symptom

In Web Service Message Monitoring there are multiple errors for the service interface QueryOpportunityIn, with the text "RBAM: No authorization for 'Operation http://sap.com/xi/AP/CRM/Global FindByContactParty' on 'ServiceInterface http://sap.com/xi".

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Administrator work center.
  2. Go to the General Settings view.
  3. Click on Web Service Message Monitoring hyperlink.
  4. You see multiple errors for the service interface QueryOpportunityIn.

Cause

A possible is that the call was performed via Outlook Add-In by a user that does not have the view "Opportunities" assigned and there are not authorization checks in from Outlook to the SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer.
The call performed in Outlook Add-In triggers by default OpportunityQueryIn and the error in the response is the indication that the user that performed the call does not have authorization to the view.

Resolution

The functionality of having authorization checks between Outlook Add-In and SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer so the error might not appear in Web Service Message Monitor is planned to be made available in a higher release. At this point in time, we are not in a position to provide more accurate information on date and/or timelines for this future release.
