2644259 - The warning "This feature is not supported with flat presentation; please remove it for all dimensions" appears in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

The following warning occurs when you try to enter data into an unbooked cell (-) of a planning model in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

"This feature is not supported with flat presentation; please remove it for all dimensions."

If one or more dimensions are setup to be presented as flat ("flat presentation" hierarchy), then data entry is not supported even if the dimension actually has no hierarchy.

Entering data into a cell with "flat presentation" hierarchy selected is not supported. It may be available at a later date but cannot confirm which version.

Workaround: Create a new hierarchy for each dimension which you would leave completely empty (without any values). This would bypass the restriction we have on the flat presentation data entry as the table behaves as if you are using a real hierarchy. Please make sure that only real base members are filtered in this scenario, so that they do not risk posting values onto parent member (non-leaf) nodes.
