2643965 - Item/Scheduled offering is not taking the Approval Process

Symptom

Customer has set up approval processes on Items and scheduled offerings,
However the end user can self assign the item/scheduled offering to their learning plan. They can also register for the course, which should be restricted. The method they want to work with is 2 managers should be required to register in the items

Environment

SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) - All Supported Versions

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in
  2. Search for Course
  3. Assign it to yourself

Cause

Expected Behaviour

Resolution

  • Approval is required to launch online content or to enroll (register) into a scheduled offering. This is applicable for blended as well. 
  • As the approval request is initiated when the user tries to enroll for the offering there is no approval triggered when there is no offering.
