2638507 - "E-mail Address Isn't Valid. Please check" is Triggered Twice

Symptom

The error message "E-mail Address Isn't Valid. Please check" is duplicated when an incorrect E-mail address is entered on Individual Customer or Account creation.

Environment

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Customers work center.
  2. Go to the Individual Customers view.
  3. Select the New button.
  4. Enter a value in all mandatory fields.
  5. In the E-mail fields, enter an invalid entry (such as 123).
  6. Select the Save button.
  7. The error message "E-mail Address Isn't Valid. Please check" appears twice.

Cause

Our development colleagues are currently working on a software correction.

Resolution

This issue will be resolved with the upgrade in 1808.
