2630363 - Page Layouts applied in Tickets is not working in RUI (Fiori)

Symptom

You have applied a page layout in Tickets screen but changes are not reflected in RUI (fiori) client.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Service work center.
  2. Click on Tickets view.
  3. Open any Ticket.
  4. Go to Adapt -> New Page layout.
  5. Enter Description.
  6. Do changes such has hiding fields, buttons etc.
  7. Adapt -> Assign Page layout.
  8. Select Tickets BO.
  9. Apply this page layout to a Business role.

Cause

For adaptations or page layouts to work in Tickets TI, changes has to be done in actual floorplan.

Resolution

  1. Go to the Service work center.
  2. Click on Tickets view.
  3. Open any Ticket.
  4. Click on Adapt-> Open Layout in HTML5.
  5. You need to redo changes in page layout.
  6. Adapt-> Assign Page Layout.
  7. Select Tickets BO.
  8. Apply this page layout to Business role.
  9. Click on Save.
