Our support team has identified two issues for those clients that are using Late Stage Application configuration.
- A candidate is forwarded to a job requisition then added to the same. Recruiters send an email to the candidate to apply. However, when the candidate tries to apply, the system shows an error message "You already applied for this position".
- A candidate is forwarded to a job requisition then added to the same. When the recruiters try to move the candidate through the pipeline, an error message is displayed "Some required fields must be filled by the candidate or other operator(s) before proceeding."
The two errors can happen at the same time.

Reproducing the Issue
As described in the Symptom section, the issue happens when a candidate is forwarded to a job requisition then added to the same when a client is using late stage application. However, this error is not happening in all the cases. It happens sporadically.
Candidate is forwarded to new requisition as a late stage application into ‘Forwarded’ status. (Candidate will appear in Forwarded status).
Then they are ‘Added to Requisition’ which moves them the ‘New’ status. (Application will be created for candidate once added to job req and application internal status updated as “STATUS_NOT_APPLIED = 5; //Late stage application”.
Recruiter manually disqualified late stage application and moved to disqualified status. Now application internal status marked as STATUS_DISQUALIFIED = 1; // Disqualified application as per system behavior.
We are using application internal status STATUS_NOT_APPLIED = 5; // Late stage application to identify late stage application or not. But here application internal status marked as STATUS_DISQUALIFIED = 1; // Disqualified application and even after the recruiters move the candidates back to an in-progress status, the system does not update the status accordingly.
Our engineering team has already built a code fix. This will be implemtented within the b1805 release (May-05th Preview, Jun-02nd Production).
Meanwhile, a workaround has been provided by engineering team:
Move affected candidate application to disqualified status and again move application to required IN_PROCESS status using Drag & Drop option in candidate workbench. Drag & Drop option will update application status properly to late stage and able to move candidate to other status without any multi stage validation.
This action should update the internal status accordingly and recruiters would be able to move the candidate and the candidates can apply for the job requisition.
