The manager has no permissions to any of the event reasons that are assigned to say an event ABC. Yet the event is available in Take Action > Change Job Information.
Employee Central: Foundation Objects
Reproducing the Issue
- Make sure that a person does not have permission to any of event reasons associated with a particular event ABC.
- Now go to any employee and Take Action > Change Job Information > the person can see the event ABC and 'no results' in event reason (since he/she doesn't have permission on any of these event reasons).
- Even though the person cannot use the event, it appears in event dropdown.
In below example from our demo system, the permission for event reasons associated with event Data Change is not given but still the event will appear in the dropdown and event reasons will be no results:
Events are not controlled by RBP. Event reasons are sufficient to control any business process and are RBP controlled.
This is an expected behavior. Please raise an enhancement request as per KBA-2281023 to have events controlled by RBP.
