How is MDF version history field useful in Object Definition?

MDF version history is used to fetch the history from the audit table. If this is set to 'NO' then support team/engineers won't be able to fetch any history of the position.
For example : System automatically creates position and we need to know who created it and how this was created.
In this example if the MDF version history is 'NO' the engineers won't be able to fetch the audit log report. If this is set to 'Complete History' engineers will be able to fetch data from audit table and find the root cause.
