2597410 - Analytics in EC - Derived measures not working

Symptom

When a derived measure (e.g. Terminations - Voluntary, EOP Headcount - Female) is selected for a Workforce Analytics tile, "NaN' displays and there are no figures.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors - Analytics in Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

Create a Workforce Analytics Tile and set the measure ID to "EOPHcMale".  Make the tile available on the home page and view it.

Cause

If the dimension categories containing the data are not mapped to the standard grouping nodes, the derived measures which automatically detect those nodes will find zeroes.

Resolution

The dimensions must be mapped correctly.  Within the WFA on HANA Data Factory, open the Dimension Editor.

Scroll down to the dimension used by the affected derived measure (e.g. Gender for EOP Headcount - Female).

Check the Unmapped and Unallocated groups.  If any nodes are in these categories, select each node in turn and use Move Node to move it to the appropriate category.  (For example, gender code F should be under grouping node #F for Female.)

Save using the button in the top right and check the tile again.
