2592130 - How to set the access Context of the Report.

You have a business requirement on which a report should have an access context, but it is as No Restrictions, so you need to change the access context from No Restrictions to XYZ access context, i.e., Company, Employee, etc.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Analytics work center and Design Reports view;
2. Show All and Find XYZ report;
3. Open the report XYZ;
4. See that its access context is defined as No Restrictions.

The report access context depends on the access restriction of the user who is accessing the report.

For example, if a report is assigned to X, Y, Z work center views, you need to check which among these work center views is the user assigned to and then make sure the user has read access only for specific restriction (i.e., Company, Employee, etc).

If the business user has unrestricted access to even one of the above work center views then the report also will show unrestricted
access.

This is the system designed behavior.
