In the product master data, you can define Goods Issue Processing Time, however you want to know the significance of this field.
Reproducing the Issue
1.Go to the Product Data work center.
2.Select the Materials view.
3.Search for a product.
4.Select it and choose Edit button.
5.In the new screen, choose View All button.
6.Go to the Availability Confirmation tab. Here you can define Good Issue Processing Time. You want to know what is the significance of this field.
Goods Issue processing Time is considered during scheduling of customer order. Starting from the requested delivery date you enter in the sales order, service order, stock transfer order or sales quote and considering the shipping duration of the transport lane, the goods issue processing time of the product, and the working day calendar of the ship-from location, the system determines the requested execution start date at the ship-from location.
Note that no calendar is considered for the shipping duration. However, the working day calendar and the operating hours of the ship-from location are considered for the goods issue processing time. If you do not enter anything in the product data, the system uses a goods issue processing time of zero for scheduling.
