You are creating a Project Purchase Request for the Project XYZ (XYZ represents the Project ID).
In the Purchase Requests Approval tab, you trigger the approval and the status of the Project Purchase Request changes to Requested.
In the Purchase Requests tab, the Project Purchase Request is still in status Requested and its ID does not change to the Purchase Request ID and hyperlink.
Reproducing the Issue
Go to Project Management work center.
- Go to Projects view.
- Show All Projects.
- Find XYZ.
- Select Edit - Products.
- Go to Purchase Requests subtab.
You can see that the Project Purchase Request is still in status Requested and its ID has not changed to the Purchase Request ID and hyperlink.
The Project Purchase Request is assigned to a Project Task with the status In Preparation. It is not possible to record data on a task which is not Started or Released.
You can change the status of the Project task to Started or Released and save the project. This will trigger the creation on the Purchase Request and change the status of the Project Purchase Request to Released.
