2583400 - E-mail Activity Created via Workflow Rule With Wrong Sender

Symptom

An E-mail Activity was created via workflow rule and you noticed that the "From" field has an address different than the one maintained as "Sender" in the workflow rule.

Environment

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Activities work center.
  2. Go to the E-mails view.
  3. Open an e-mail created via workflow rule.
  4. You noticed that the "From" field has an address different than the one maintained as "Sender" in the workflow rule.

Resolution

This is the system expected behavior.

If you need to populate the "From" field with the address maintained as "Sender" of the workflow rule, you may contact your implementation manager to help with such request or approach directly the SAP Cloud Service Center (servicecenter@sap.com).
