How to hide fields based on event reasons?
Employee Central: Business Rules
Enable the field event-reason in Job Information. You can do it via Succession Data Model or Manage Business Configuration (BCUI).
Create a business rule as per your business requirement. An example rule's screenshot is added below.
Add the business rule to the event-reason field as an onChange rule.
- Navigate to an employee's Job Information and Edit by clicking on the pencil icon or by Take Action -> Change Job and Compensation Information or through History (Clock icon) -> Insert New Record.
- Notice that the field "Custom Position Title" is available.
- Add the effective date, the event and the event reason that is used in the business rule. Now notice that the field is no more available.
