2577093 - CPI: Scheduler Time Zone and DST

  • Within SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), you are using a Timer Start object.
  • When setting the Time Zone up in the Scheduler -> Schedule to Recur, you are wondering if the Summer/Winter hours, or Daylight Saving Time (DST), will be taken into consideration.

  • SAP Cloud Platform Integration for process services

Currently, the Time Zone dropdown list is filled with static values and does not reflect the Daylight Saving Times in the different global Time Zones.

  1. Even though the Time Zone dropdown list is not dynamically filled, the Cloud Platform Integration runtime uses the Daylight Saving Times.
  2. If you set the Scheduler to "Daily, On Time at 5:00pm, Central European Time (CET)", for example, it will run every day at 5:00pm. If you lose/gain an hour with DST, it will still run at 5:00pm CET.
