Go to Upgrade Center

Result: Best Practices Employee Central Core Content not available

Resolution

The activation of  SAP Best Practices content via Upgrade Center should be only used if the application/functionality that should be added (like Employee Central Core, Time Off, Payroll Time Sheet) is not yet configured in the customer instance.

The SAP Best Practices content is designed for the activation by Implementation Consultants/Partners and requires a corresponding implementation project to make sure that customer requirements are fulfilled and any side effects on existing configuration are taken into consideration.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We strongly advise to use the activation of SAP Best Practices via Upgrade center in Test/Development instances only and use common tools like IST to setup PRODUCTION instances.

How to enable the "Best Practice" items in the Upgrade Center

Step 1:

Go to Provisioning

Enable: Enable SAP Best Practices Upgrades in Upgrade Center [Demoable, Not Ready for Production]

Step 2:

Grant permission to feature: Manage Upgrade Center

Step 3:

Go to Upgrade Center

Result: Best Practices Employee Central Core Content available
