Is it possible to run an Ad Hoc reports on a marked field? (******)
Alternative workaround to unmask field via Manage Business Configuration
- Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
- Manage Business Configuration
- Select Element and select field then click "Details"
- Set "Masked" to "Yes"
- View employees profile (Field will now be displayed as such "*****")
For security reasons once you have made a field "Masked" it is considered sensitive information and this data cannot be extracted/reported on via Ad Hoc Reports.
Alternative workaround is to set the previously masked field to "No".
Once set to no you will now once again be able to extracted/reported on this field via Ad Hoc Reports.
