2569691 - Account Owner Field in not Filled During Replication From ERP on Premise and S4 on Premise

Symptom

You are replicating the partner function from the ERP on-premise System, which is an employee, but you realise that the account owner field is not filled.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

You are replicating an account from an ERP system, which has some employees as partner functions, but when the message is successful, you can see the employees are added to the account team facet but no Account owner field on header has been filled.

Cause

The account owner field has a hardcoded logic that will fill the field only if bellow conditions are met:

The Role 142 in party role definition activity should not be flagged as sales data(Sales Area Independent).

  • PartyRole   '142' (Employee Responsible Sales).
  • Validity    VALID.
  • SalesOrg    INITIAL.
  • DistChannel INITIAL.
  • Division    INITIAL.
  • Default     TRUE.

In addition to the above if there is multiple Employee Responsible Sales the system will not fill the account owner field.

Resolution

When replicating accounts make sure the external code sent for party role is mapped to local code 142 Employee Responsible Sales in code list mapping for data type 'PartyRoleCode'.

The role 142 on activity 'Party Role Definition' has not been flagged as Sales Data and only one employee responsible sales is sent.
