You replicate customers from your ERP system and notice that one employee is flagged as main in the customer's Account Team.
Reproducing the Issue
Pre-requisites: you have a working integration scenario where you replicate customers from your ERP system to Cloud for Customer (C4C) and the respective message successfully arrived in C4C.
- Go to the Customers work center.
- Go to the Accounts view.
- Open account ABC (ABC represents the ID of the account).
- Navigate to the Account Team facet.
- Observe the main indicator checkboxes.
Result: one of the party roles is flagged as main, however, when you analyse the payload, the <DefaultIndicator> is set to 'false'.
The value of the <DefaultIndicator> tag is considered only if the employee is sales area dependent. Otherwise, the value of the tag is ignored (even if the value is 'true') and the business object chooses one party role and flag it as main. However, in this case we have no control on which employee the business object chooses.
