2568364 - Relationships and Account Team Members Are Not Replicated from Cloud For Customer to ERP

Symptom

You replicate customers from Cloud for Customer (C4C) to your external system and notice that the parties from Relationships and Account Team facets are not in the payload. They do not replicate to ERP.

Reproducing the Issue

Pre-requisites: you have a working integration scenario for business partner replication from C4C to your external system.

Case 1:

  1. Go to the Customers work center.
  2. Open an account which you want to replicate to your external system.
  3. Go to the Account Team facet.
  4. Maintain an employee with role ABC (ABC represents the role).
  5. Save the changes.

Observation: the employee is not replicated in the payload as a partner function.

Case 2:

  1. Go to the Customers work center.
  2. Open an account which you want to replicate to your external system.
  3. Go to the Relationships facet.
  4. Maintain the Relationship Type and Business Partner.
  5. Save the changes.

Observation: the business partner maintained in Relationships is not replicated in the payload as a partner function.

Cause

Case 1: The employee is not sales area dependent.

Case 2: The relationship type is not flagged as sales area dependent.

The roles and relationships maintained in Relationships and Account Team facets are only replicated to your external system if they are sales area dependent.

Resolution

Case 1:

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Open Party Role Definition activity.
  3. Select the respective role.
  4. Flag the Sales Data box.
  5. Save the changes.
  6. Go to the Customers work center.
  7. Open the respective account.
  8. Navigate to the Account Team facet.
  9. Delete the respective party role.
  10. Click on Add.
  11. Choose the same party role and the employee.
  12. Maintain the sales data.
  13. Save your changes.

Case 2:

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Open General Business Partners activity.
  3. Select the Maintain Relationships hyperlink.
  4. Select the respective role.
  5. Flag the Sales Area Dependency box.
  6. Go to the Customers work center.

  7. Open the respective account.
  8. Navigate to the Relationships facet.
  9. Delete the respective relationship.
  10. Click on Add.
  11. Choose the Relationship Type and Business Partner.
  12. Maintain the sales data.
  13. Save your changes.
