You have created a new list price for the product XYZ (XYZ represents the Product ID) and set it to Released.
You are expecting this to cancel the release of the pre-existing list price for the same product, but it is still Released.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Product Portfolio work centre.
- Go to List Prices view.
- Find XYZ.
Several entries appear in Released status for the same product XYZ.
In the newly created list price, the Product Category differs from the one used in the existing list price.
This is expected system behaviour. The list prices are not identical, therefore creating a second one will not cancel the release of the first one.
