Could not propagate the S/4HANA Cloud Edition Identity Provider setting in SAP Analytics Cloud (formerly known as SAP BusinessObjects Cloud / BOC)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure a Live Data Connection to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Edition via OAuth
  2. As part of the process attempt to change the Identity Provider per Integration with SAP Analytics Cloud
  3. Notice the error

Cause

Trying to use OAuth and change the Identity Provider

Resolution

Per Live Data Connection to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Edition via OAuth "With OAuth 2.0, you do not need to configure SAP Analytics Cloud to use the same SAML identity provider (IdP) as you use for SAP S/4HANA cloud edition."
