You've opened the Expense Report Cover Sheet form template for a certain expense report which has Cost Assignment as Project WBS Element, however, while checking the Cost Assignment field in the template you notice that it is blank.
Remark: this KBA applies to customer built/customized Expense Report Cover Sheet form templates.
Reproducing the Issue
Go to Auditing work center.
- Go to Expense Reports view.
- Search and open the concerned Expense Report for which you want to open the cover sheet PDF.
- Click Print Preview.
- Click Expense Report Cover Sheet.
Notice that under Report Summary section, Trip Data sub-section, field Cost Assignment is blank.
In the customized form you've built you are using the wrong data binding for the field txtCostCenter.
You should use data binding $.AccountingCodingBlockDistribution.CostObjectTypeDescription instead.
This field is filled correctly with the Project WBS Element in your case.
