"Mass Position" field in a position is set as "NO". Position already has an incumbent, however we are able to successfully import Job History with this position for another user than the current incumbent. The other user is also getting assigned to this position successfully.
Employee Central: Position Management
It is an expected behavior.
Job History import will not execute position specific checks on save. Hence system will not throw any error during the import.
This validation (Mass Position) do happen in the following scenarios:
- Use Take Action to change the position.
- Use the edit in MSS page (click on the pencil).
