2543734 - An Owner Field is Missing in the Advance Search of the Contact

Symptom

An Owner field is missing in the advance search of the contact.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Customers work center.
  2. Go to the Contacts view.
  3. You can see the Owner column is available in the OWL(Object Work List).
  4. Click on the Advance Search filter.

Here the Owner field is missing and not available to be added also via adaptation.

Resolution

The field owner is currently not available in the advance search filter, but you can use as a workaround the below search parameters. 

  1. Go to the Customers work center.
  2. Go to the Contacts view ->All Contacts
  3. Click on the Advance Search filter.
  4. Click on Adapt -> Edit Master Layout and make the field Relationship Role and Related To as visible.
  5. End Layout Changes.
  6. Now set the below value as :-
  • Relationship Role : as Has Contact Team Member
  •  Related To:

This will return the requested field Owner.
