When a form is completed, some of the fields are not visible.
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Core All Supported Versions
- Performance Management V12 Acceleration
Reproducing the Issue
1. Launch a form
2. Route the form through all steps to Completed
3. View the form from the Completed folder and notice that some of the fields are missing/not visible
This is caused by the configuration of field permissions in your form template. If you set up the permissions for a field as shown here, the field will not be visible in when Completed. In this example, we will focus on Item Comments. Since the Completed Step is not an actual Step, there is no way to permission Completed specifically. Instead, Completed will take on any permission that you have configured for ALL (*) steps. In this case, the permission is set to None for All Roles in All Steps.
It is best practice to avoid using the permission type None in ALL steps. Instead, you can assign the permission type None to the roles in specific steps. Doing so will allow the fields to be visible when Completed. With the below configuration example, Item Comments will not be visible to any role in the selected steps. Once completed however, Item Comments will still be visible. Even though all of the steps are selected, since the All radio button is not selected, the permsision will not affect the Completed step.
