2540081 - C4C Odata For Tickets does not Fetch Email Interactions and Notes

Symptom

Email Interactions and Notes cannot be fetched using C4C Odata For Tickets.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Administrator workcenter.
  2. Select OData Service view.
  3. Use the standard c4c odata service c4codata and use the Test URL as :

           https://myXXXXXX.crm.ondemand.com/sap/c4c/odata/v1/c4codata/ServiceRequestCollection('Object ID')/ServiceRequestDescription

     4. The response shows as blank entry in E-mail interactions.

 

Cause

There is no way to get all interactions in one collection of an Standard OData service.

Resolution

Use below URL for the Notes:

https://myXXXXXX.crm.ondemand.com/sap/c4c/odata/v1/c4codata/ServiceRequestCollection('Object ID')/ServiceRequestDescription  

To get other types of interaction use below URL:

https://myXXXXXX.crm.ondemand.com/sap/c4c/odata/v1/c4codata/ServiceRequestInteractionCollection?$filter=ServiceRequestObjectID  eq '<objectidofservicerequest>'   

 e.g. -
https://myXXXXXX.crm.ondemand.com/sap/c4c/odata/v1/c4codata/EMailCollection('Object ID')?$expand=EMailNotes
