2540049 - Errors When Requesting External Pricing in Sales Quotes

You request external pricing for a sales quote in Cloud for Customer (C4C) from ERP, but the pricing call fails with the following errors:

'(XYZ) Pricing data could not be read

(XZY) Sales document was not changed

(XYZ) Please enter sold-to party or ship-to party

Price procedure code is missing'

(XYZ represents the ERP system ID)

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Navigate to the Sales Quotes view.
3. Open a sales quote.
4. Click on the Request External Pricing button.

The following errors occur:

'(XYZ) Pricing data could not be read

(XZY) Sales document was not changed

(XYZ) Please enter sold-to party or ship-to party

Price procedure code is missing'

You do not use the correct party role codes in Code List Mapping.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Click on the Fine-tune button.
4. Select the Code List Mapping link.
5. Click on the Maintain Code List Mapping hyperlink.
6. Search for PartyRoleCode.
7. Maintain the relevant external codes for the problematic party roles (e.g. 'WE' for Ship-to party).

You can also contact your ERP consultant to know more about the ERP codes for Bill-to party, Payer etc.
