Dashboards consist of tiles. Each tile contains a chart and has drill-to-detail. Tiles can be combined into full screen dashboards with many charts on the page that can be shared with different roles. Tiles can also be placed on the homepage or in the SAP SuccessFactors iPad application.

The homepage tiles and the dashboards are built on the same technology; the Youcalc calculation engine. The Youcalc engine is an in-memory analytics and calculation engine pulling data from the Table reporting framework. This allows the dashboards to be fast, interactive and always have data that is 100% up to date (real time, with no delays).
