You are using SAP C4C in offline mode and want to be able to generate summaries for Tickets / Work Tickets.
Reproducing the Issue
- With the mobile app on a mobile device, turn your application to Offline mode.
- Go to the Service work center.
- Go to the (for example) Work Tickets view.
- Open any ticket.
- Click the Action button.
- There is no option available to generate a summary.
The Generate Summary action which is available online uses the Adobe Form template and Adobe does not support summary generation in offline mode.
For that reason we have come up with a new framwework to support offline summary generation using a new action Generate Local Summary which allows you to preview as well as generate the ticket summary pdf offline.
This feature is currently not generally available in the standard software but you can get it enabled on your test tenants in order to test and provide your feedback. This can be done by creating an incident and requesting for the same from your test tenant.
Once you have done the testing and are OK with the currently available feature, then you can request to enable it for your production tenant.
We would therefore ask you to please create the relevant incident from your test tenant.
After the generation, you need to assign the work center 'PRINTFORMTEMPLATE_WCVIEW' to the relavant user or business role of the Admin.
Once this is assigned, you need to publish the offline summary template to generate offline summary. Go to Administrator -> Business Flexibility -> Local Form Template Maintenance and publish the template to generate ticket summary.
