While saving the newly created customer, system throws below error message in the Building field:
Your entry is too long. Do not enter more than 10 Character(s).
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Customers work center.
- Go to the Accounts view.
- Open Account ABC (ABC is Account id)
- Enter the building name in Building field in header screen.
Getting error message: Your entry is too long. Do not enter more than 10 Character(s).
The character limit for the "Building" field is ten characters long. Currently this is a limitation in C4C, with the length of the field. This is across multiple objects like Account, Contacts etc.
After entering a new Building name, ensure that you have entered less than or equal to 10 character. Now press Enter key in the keyboard.
Now, you could be able to save the account without any issues.
