2527722 - Manage Permission Groups: When creating/editing a Permission Group built using Employee Central fields the system does not return value search results

When trying to Create or Edit a Permission Group which uses Employee Central fields as filters - no results are returned in the search box

Employee Central 2.0

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Permission Groups
2. Click on Create New
3. In the People Pool selection menu, select an Employee Central field (such as Job Information - Legal Entity)
4. Write a valid Legal Entity value into the search field
5. No list of values are returned

You can also identify that you are encountering by looking at the search field - if there is a Magnifying Glass icon in the search field - then you are encountering this issue

The feature "Person-Employment-User V1 [Not Ready for Sales/Production]" has been enabled in the instance

SAP SuccessFactors Development Engineering team have confirmed that the feature "Person-Employment-User V1 [Not Ready for Sales/Production]" is not yet ready for use in Production/Demo/Test systems. Therefore please disable this feature in the related instance. This was confirmed by Product Management team via STE-4014.

If you had enabled this feature to enable Global Assignment or Concurrent Employment feature support for the Org Chart and QuickCard features, these system features (Org Chart and QuickCard support for GA/CE) are Universal since 1705, and are no longer coupled to the feature switch "Person-Employment-User V1 [Not Ready for Sales/Production]". Therefore disabling this switch will not result in the loss of this behaviour.

How to Disable "Person-Employment-User V1"

1. Navigate to Provisioning > Company Settings
2. Disable the feature "Person-Employment-User V1 [Not Ready for Sales/Production]"
3. Save the feature changes
4. Log into the instance and verify the issue is now resolved



How to enable the feature "Show all active employments (for Global Assignment and Concurrent Employment) on Quickcard, Org Chart, and Global Search results"

This is the feature you need to enable to be able to see all active employments for Global Assignment and Concurrent Employment on Quickcard, Org Chart, and Global Search results

1. Navigate to Admin Centre > Company System & Logo Settings
2. Enable the feature "Show all active employments (for Global Assignment and Concurrent Employment) on Quickcard, Org Chart, and Global Search results"
3. Click Save
