2527607 - Users do not get the system emails from SAP Analytics Cloud (BOC)

Symptom

  • Users do not see the system emails from SAP Analytics Cloud (formerly known as SAP BusinessObjects Cloud / BOC).

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon to SAP Analytics Cloud with Administrator user.
  2. Create a new user. 
  3. Notice that the end-user do not get the activation email for instance.

Cause

  • The generated system emails are getting filtered by the user's spam settings.

Resolution

  • Make sure that the following domains are added in the whitelist:  
    • *.hana.ondemand.com
    • *.sap.com
    • *.sap.corp

WORKAROUND:

  1. Open the SAP Analytics Cloud.
  2. Click on "Forgot password" on the SAP Cloud ID logon screen.
  3. Enter the appropriate email address.
  4. Follow the instructions of the received email to setup a password.
