2525974 - How to Disable the Report Center

Symptom

The Report Center unifies all the Reporting tools under one UI. After enabling Report Center, you have to navigate to reports through Report Center.

In case, you want to disable the Report Center this document explains how it can be done.

Important Information:

- We recommend to have the Report Center switched on as it provides the latest available functionalities and a unified navigation experience.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Core
  • Report Center

Resolution

Follow the below Steps to disable Report Center:

Pre-requisite:  Please ensure that you have access to the Manage Report Center page via Manage Permission Roles > Administrator permissions > Manage Dashboard Reports > Report Center as this is not automatically permissioned to a role.

Step 1: Admin Center > Reporting And Analytics > Manage Report Center > Turn Off below 3 features in the specified order:

  • Use SOLR to load Report Center
  • Enable Report Center Search Functionality
  • Enable Report Center

Step 2: Admin Center > Set User Permission > Manage Permission Role > Select RBP Role > Permission > Manage Dashboards / Reports > Disable below Permission > Done > Save Changes > Logout and Login Back

  • Report Center 
  • Share Reports to Groups & Roles 
  • View All Schedules 
  • Schedule Reports to FTP Destination

Step 3: Admin Center > Set User Permission > Manage Permission Role > Select RBP Role > Permission > Report Permission > Disable below Permissions > Done > Save Changes

  • Report Center
  • Schedule Reports

Step 4: Log out and Log in back to the instance wait for at least 1 hour to refresh the RBP.

Step 5: Admin Center > Set User Permission > Manage Permission Role > Select RBP Role > Permission >  Analytics Permission > Select "Show Analytics" permission > Done > Save Changes > Logout and Log in back

Step 6: Home > Analytics > Analytics


Note: If the Analytics sub-tab or the permission for the same does not appear even an hour after disabling report center, an RBP refresh might be required from provisioning.
