2525160 - Not able to ADD any Account Team or Relationship in Customers

Symptom

No Action happens when you click on "Add" button in Account ABC --> Account Team or Relationship Facet.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Account ABC.
  2. Go to Account Team Facet or RelationShip Facet.
  3. Click on "Add" button.
  4. You will see no action happening. However, you may see the the message - "You are not authorized to change the data".
  5. Also, at times, you will not see any error or warning message.

Cause

The reason for this is that the specific user who is experiencing the issue has no access to write upon the Customer Object.

 

Resolution

Please check Application and User Management--> Business Users --> Search for the user XYZ --> Check the Access Restriction of this user on the Customer Object.

NOTE:- Ability to switch off actions like "Add" button for an object if the user has only read authorizations will be included in the future road map.
