Symptom

How to configure business rules for work order alerts and notifications?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Resolution

  1. Configure a business rule as following:

  1. Configure an Off Cycle batch in Admin Center -> Manage Data as following:

Please take special attention to the operator and the offset you select. In case you select 45 days, for example, no alerts will be triggered when adding the contingent worker the end date in within less than 45 days.

  1. To configure the recurrence of the Off Cycle Event Batch Processing Job: go to Scheduled Job Manager -> Job Scheduler -> Create Job Request -> Select Job Type "Off Cycle Event Batch Processing Job" and fill all the required information

Please note that the job owner of the above-mentioned job must have permission to Work Order object. If the job owner does not have the permission, the alert will not be generated.

It is also necessary to ensure that Intelligent Services is enabled in the instance. It can be checked in Upgrade Center -> Recommended Upgrades.
