There are some scenarios where ICS attachments are included for information, like in case of supervisors when employees enroll for a class, these will be suppressed.

1. Go to System Administration > Configuration > Global Application Settings > Mail tab >
2. Ensure that "Enable Vcalendar attachments" option is checked >
3. To suppress ICS attachments, enable "Suppress Informational ICS Attachments for Email Notifications".

Points to Note:

When "Send Vcalendar attachments as Calendar Invite" and "Suppress Informational ICS Attachments for Email Notifications" are enabled:

• User and Supervisor received Registration e-mail
• VCAL invite as separate e-mail
• VLS e-mail (if VLS is enabled)
• Notification e-mail triggered does not contain ICS attachment

When "Send Vcalendar attachments as Calendar Invite" is disabled and "Suppress Informational ICS Attachments for Email Notifications" is enabled:

• User and Supervisor received Registration e-mail
• VLS e-mail (if VLS is enabled)
• ICS attachment

When "Send Vcalendar attachments as Calendar Invite" is enabled and "Suppress Informational ICS Attachments for Email Notifications" is disabled:

• User and Supervisor received Registration e-mail
• VCAL invite as separate e-mail (for user and Instructor)
• VLS e-mail (if VLS is enabled)
• ICS attachment
