You have created a Service Ticket, now you want to assign an Employee as Service Technician however you are not able to find the Employee in the value help.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Service work center
- Select Work Ticket view
- Select and Open the required Service Ticket
- Navigate to the Service And Repair tab
Under Additional Information section you are not able to find the required employee in Service Technician value help.
The Employee you are trying to search is Inactive. One of the reasons could be that the Employee's Valid From date is in future date.
As the Employee is Inactive currently hence does not show up in the value help.
To activate the Employee, change the Valid From date of the Employee to the required date (date when you want to start assigning the service tickets to employee). After activating the Employee you will be able to find/locate the employee in the value help of Service Technician in Service Tickets.
