Customer want to know how to edit the Admin Quick Links

Environment

SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)

Resolution

  1. Go to SAP SuccessFactors Learning and then go to Start of the navigation path System Admin Next navigation step Configuration Next navigation step Quick Links Configuration End of the navigation path.

  2. You see a preview of the default administration home page. If learning administrators choose not to customize their home page, they see this default page. When you fist implement SAP SuccessFactors Learning, we provide a default page that has the most common quick links and groups quick links in proven ways.

  3. To edit a group of quick links, click its edit Edit Group button.

    A group is a set of quick links that go together. For example, the group Create Online Course could have links to all the actions that administrators take when they create an online course: Importing Content, Adding Learning Items, and so on.

  4. In Edit Group, change the group name or description or change the translation into your administrators' languages by clicking the translation buttons ''.
  5. Use the Add, Add All, Remove, and Remove All buttons to move quick links between the Available list and the group list.

    When you move a quick link from the Available list to the group list, administrators see it in the group. When you remove it from the group list, administrators no longer see it in the group.

  6. Change the order of the quick links in the group with the Move Up and Move Down buttons.

    In quick links groups, order is important because you are often guiding administrators through a larger process. For example, if you have a group for creating courses, you want to add the import content quick link before the create learning item or the create scheduled offering quick links: you want the administrator to import content first and then think about creating a learning item if they don't create it during the import.

  7. To hide the group from learning administrators, click Hide Group.
  8. To manage the available quick links or to add a group, click Manage Links and Groups.
  9. To add a group, click Add Group.

    After you add a group, you can manage the group as above.

  10. Use the Add, Add All, Remove, and Remove All buttons to move quick links between the Available list and the Selected list.
  11. Change the order of the quick links in the group with the Move Up and Move Down buttons.
