When creating a new Lead, the Initial status is set to value Qualified, even though the value Open is maintained for Initial Status in Fine Tuning.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Sales work centre.
- Select the Leads view.
- Select the New button.
- Enter a value in all Mandatory fields.
- In the Qualification Level field, select any value from the drop down list.
- Select Save and Open.
- Lead has Initial Status set as Qualified.
At the creation of a Lead, when any value is chosen in the Qualification Level field, the Initial Status of the Lead will be set as Qualified. This is the expected system behaviour.
In order for the Lead to have Initial Status Open, the Qualification Level field must not have a value maintained.
