2516819 - How to Track Data Model Changes


  • An unwanted Data Model change is causing an issue in the customers instance/s
  • Customer would like to know who carried out this change

  • Firstly, the Customer must ensure that they have the Comprehensive Audit Framework enabled for their instance
  • If the Comprehensive Audit Framework is not enabled, inform the customer that tracking the data model change is not possible at this time
  • However, suggest that the customer open a ticket with CS to have the Audit Framework enabled to avoid this situation in future
  • Once the customer has stated that the Comprehensive Audit Framework is enabled, Customer Support can investigate and attempt to track the data model changes in question
  • NOTE: Audit Framework only records for the past 90 days, if the change to the data model is outside this period, it will not be able to be found
